Sponsors and partners

Below you will find the institutions or people who have contributed their support and partnership to the Apoena Network.

Brazilian Embassy in Berlin

The Brazilian Embassy in Berlin is an important partner of the Apoena Network, having encouraged and supported its formation from the outset. The initiative is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ current policy of fostering and strengthening networks of Brazilian science, technology and innovation (STI) diasporas in various countries around the world. The MRE recognises the important potential of this audience to contribute to the development and internationalisation of Brazilian science.

Particularly in Germany, the mobilisation and engagement actions were marked by the 1st Meeting of the Brazilian Science & Innovation Diaspora in Germany, in February 2021, which attracted hundreds of researchers. Since then, the Embassy has provided support to all diasporans interested in cooperation with Brazil and, in particular, to the Apoena Network.
